April [Photos].
The April showers came on cue, a sign to show the cyclical pattern of the seasons - they know when to come and when to leave. I could learn something from these showers. The world goes on and the forgetting becomes the forgot. I felt like I was on top of the world, like I had reached the furthest part of the globe. I thought I might fall off the side of the edge of the universe. It was so windy that I couldn't open my eyes but I knew from the car ride that the sun was seeping down, rays like spider legs over the Atlantic from a crack in the clouds. The sea wild with glitter, energy from the wind. And now the sun sees me. Now it sees me. I am brought back to myself, to the canvas of my whole being. I remember how loud the waves were as they spat at me and I wanted to run into the sea and let it swallow me. It's a song I can't stop humming, a carousel that won't stop to let me off.

The seagulls are flying overhead, mocking the laughter they've heard from the children running by. The sun stares at me and the ripples in the water swim towards me. This is the beginning of the epilogue and I hope it's a sweet one. The candles are melting and the wax is dripping. We are coming of age.
